Red, White & Blue Popsicles
- 1 1/2 cups blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 2 cups Limeade (choose a low-sugar variety)*
*Tips for Limeade: some pre-packaged beverages may contain more calories and sugar than you need! So, you can use water with a low-calorie mix-in powder or drops, or try this simple recipe for your own limeade: 1 cup of freshly juiced limes juice (usually 4-6 limes -- you can substitute lemons if desired), 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of stevia (start with a little and add to your taste), 6 cups of water.
Serves: 10 (depending on size of popsicle molds you choose)
Divide blueberries and raspberries among freezer-pop molds. (check out these alternatives if you don't have popsicle molds handy!)
Pour limeade over the berries. Insert the sticks and freeze until completely firm, about 6 hours. Dip the molds briefly in hot water before unmolding.
