Better-for-You Veggie Dip
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
Start with these two ingredients as your base, and then you can season the dip with one or more other ingredients such as:
- Dried dill weed
- Onion powder (can also use finely grated onion if you don't have onion powder)
- Celery salt
- Sea salt
- Ground pepper
- Lemon pepper
- Italian seasoning blend
Start with just a little of the seasoning (such as 1/2 to 1 teaspoon) and then add to your taste.
Serves: Makes 2 cups
Put cottage cheese in food processor with steel blade and process about one minute, until cottage cheese is well blended. (It will not be completely smooth.) Add yogurt, and blend about 30 seconds more, until well combined. Blend in seasonings as desired. Chill several hours before using.
