Location: Spellerberg Park (shelter)

Tot Lot is the cool place to be for kids ages 6 and younger!

Kids, bring your adult along and see what you can do together for fun! Our elementary school teacher staff will have weekly themes to encourage free play combined with simple crafts and games to get you moving.

This program is not intended as a child care program. Children ages 6 and younger must be supervised by someone at least 16 years old. the ratio of children 6 years and younger may not exceed five children per adult.

This playground program is an outdoor program and is weather‑dependent. If there is inclement weather, the program will be canceled for the day. ​

Location: Midco Aquatic Center, 1601 S Western Ave

This class will be fast paced or whatever pace you would like. We will be swimming with fins and a kick board, so you do not need to know how to swim to attend the class. We will mix it up with shallow, deep, and lots of fun building strength and endurance using a variety of equipment. Great workout packing in 45 minutes.

There is a $35 per series fee for this class.

When the Great Plains Zoo's ZooExpress pulls into the park, an adventure is sure to follow! Children of all ages will enjoy meeting live animals as they explore the wonders of the animal kingdom during a presentation by knowledgeable Great Plains Zoo staff. No registration required.

Location: McKennan Park is located at East 26th Street and South Second Avenue.

Come and experience the beauty of McKennan Park while your kids have some fun also. Who would want to miss the fun of these events? Your family can enjoy a park full of old-time carnival games, inflatables, and summer fun. Bring your kids or "kid-like spirit". Kids' Night in the Park is free.

Activities include:

6-8 p.m. Youth art show and sale

6-8 p.m. Kids' carnival booths of skill and challenge throughout the park

7 p.m. Featured entertainment: Storyland Children's Theatre
