Hydroriders

Location: Midco Aquatic Center 50 Meter Pool

The Hydrorider is a user-friendly water bike and is perfect ofr any participants or skill level. Training in water also allows training at a greater level of intensity due to the cooling effect and faster recovery rate. Work at your own pace and try a new cycling experience in the water. The workout will also include upper body strengthening and toning. Water shoes or socks required. Ages 18+. $45.00 per series. Register at Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation (#930026).

This high-intensity fitness class will leave you breathless, taking cardio to a new level. using water as your resistance and moving to the music that motivates will keep the water around you churning. All the strength and core work you could ask for, combined with riding, will have you giving your all. Water shoes or socks are required. Ages 18+. $45.00 per series. Morningside Community Center's walking program is a great way to stay healthy and active when those cold winter temperatures draw near. Lap counters are available for checkout so you can log your daily progress! No registration required. Age 18+.

Sprouts—S is for Snow!

Location: Outdoor Campus-East

Sprouts are a program designed for preschoolers and their adult family partner. The goal of the program is to introduce families with 3 and 4 year olds to the outdoors in a fun, active and non-threatening environement. Ages 3-4 welcome with an adult partner.

S is for Snow!-It's just my most favorite time of the year! Come play in the snow with us while learning about these tiny crystals! We will try to go outside if everyone is dressed for the weather, otherwise this will be an indoor class.

Location: Morning Side Community Center

Gather your friends at our "house" to play, create, and socialize. Our playgroups are open for kids from infant age to prekindergarten age. We will provide the equipment and toys while parents and adults provide the supervision. Not intended for childcare centers or in-home care providers. A 5-to-1 ratio of children to adults must be observed. No registration required.

Power 40

Location: Midco Aquatic Center 50 Meter Pool

 This class will have you swimming laps in a variety of different ways. Power 40 is designed not only for beginners, but those who wish to take their workout to an extreme level. A vigorous format includes equipment as participants swim the full length of the pool (25 yards). Come join us for this power-packed class to help you become the new you!

Turkey Bowling

Turkey Bowling

Location: Various Ice Rinks

Join us each night to put your sites on being the champ! This winter enjoy some bowling on ice--with a turkey! Participants will compete to see who nocks down the most bowling pins with a frozen turkey. Contest will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy all six ice rinks by competing at a different location each night. At the end of the bowling league, the participant with the highest score overall will receive a champion prize. Ages 16+, 430.00 per person.
