Little Hoopers Basketball Camp

Little Hoopers Basketball Camp

Location: Morningside Community Center, 2400 S Bahnson Ave.

Do you have a 4- or 5-year-old that loves basketball and cant wait to play? This camp will help them with their skills. We will be running lots of drills to help us become experts at passing, dribbling, and shooting.

The cost for the class is $10 per child. Registration closes 5 days in advance. You can register online at www.siouxfalls.org/parks using class number #190006 or call (605) 367-8222.

Stretch Out and Tone Up

Location: Kuehn Community Center, 2801 S Valley View Rd

This class focuses on conditioning, strength, endurance, and stretch components. Equipment may be used. You'll develop increased flexibility and range of motion through a total body workout. Participants are encouraged to work within their own range of motion. registration is required #910003. Ages 18+. $35 per series.

What is the kickboxing craze all abut? Aqua Kick combines a variety of kicks, jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts, and core exercises in a fun, high energy class! Held in the shallow end of the pool, Aqua Kick provides an effective total body aerobic workout with less stress on the joints. Combinations will help keep your mind engaged while you tone, shape, and sculpt your body. Registration required #910001. Ages 18+

Full Moon Hike

Full Moon Hike

Location: Great Bear Recreation Park, on Rice Street two miles east of I-229 (exit 7)

Come out and See Great Bear under the full moon's glow! Hiking not only benefits your physical health, but it also has been shown to be a powerful anxiety and stress reliever for people of all ages.

Recommended for ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must be able to hike one mile on uneven terrain. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a flashlight. Limited flashlights will be available to borrow.
