Back Country Travel

Location: Outdoor Campus-East
Grab your pack and get ready! Our naturalist, Kirk, retired Army Infantry Ranger, will walk you through what equipment and supplies you should have with you and how to use them while traveling through the back country. You will also learn basic wilderness first aid in case of an emergency. This is a hands-on class, please dress for the weather. Lunch will be provided. All ages, recommended 8 and up, youth must be with an adult.

Filling your week with foods that fuel your body and having a plan to get them on the table doesn’t have to feel like a daunting task.
