Temperatures are dropping outside, but things are heating up at Morningside Community Center with Netjfitness and this new group fitness class. BANDS is a 45 minute high intensity interval resistance band class for ages 14+.

Throughout the class a partnered instructor will focus on bringing the heart rate up to an aerobic rate while strengthening and toning all muscle groups. The benefits of having resistance band routines - while this is a high intense workout, the movements are easily modifiable for you to go at your own pace. So get excited! Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat. Registration required. $12 PER CLASS OR $80 PER SERIES

Location: Kuehn Community Center, 2801 S. Valley View Road

It's tough to be on fire on the outdoor basketball courts when it is below zero degrees outside! That is why we are bringing this 3-on-3 inside. Come enjoy this one-day tournament and take the crown for the best basketball trio in town! Limit of four participants ages 13-17 per team. Winner and runner up will receive a t-shirt. Registration required, and the cost is $40 per team.

Moms and kids ages 4-5: it is your turn to spend some time one on one! Enjoy competing in sports like basketball, dodgeball, soccer, and kickball against one another! Don’t miss this great opportunity to take part in different competitions, meet and connect with other families all while creating long lasting memories! $5 per child. Registration required.
