Self Guided Earth Day Hike

Location: Good Earth State Park at Blood Run, 26924 480th Ave Sioux Falls, SD 57108

It's time to celebrate Earth!  Walking along the Vista Loop Trail at Good Earth State Park at Blood Run, visitors will learn ways to preserve our planet, as well as learn about local organizations that share the love of the Earth.  This one mile hike is ADA accessible.  The event is free to attend with a park entrance license required on vehicles entering the park.  Be sure to dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes. 

The park is open daily from 6 am till 9 pm., and this Self Guided Earth Day Hike event runs from April 14 – April 27.

A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls

Join us for this FREE 8-week Falls Prevention program for older adults. Learn how to prevent falls and increase activity specific for balance, strength and flexibility.  This program is free thanks to the support of the Betty & Gordon Moore Foundation.

You will learn to set goals for increasing activity, reduce fall risks at home, exercise to increase strength and balance, and know how to safety get up if you fall.
