The 2017 Sioux Falls Marathon will be run on Sunday, September 10.

The event will feature a Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon/Half Marathon Relays and Miracle 5K. Sanford Children’s Miracle Network will once again be the official charity of the Sioux Falls Marathon. In 2016, the Sioux Falls Marathon raised over $23,500 for Sanford Children’s Miracle Network.

• Minimum age requirement for the Sioux Falls Marathon is 16 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for the Sioux Falls Half Marathon is 12 years old. 
• Minimum age requirement for the Sioux Falls Marathon or Half Marathon Team Relays is 10 years old.
• There is no age minimum for the Sioux Falls 5K.

Dancing is a great way to get some physical activity, so join us and party like it's 1945!

You can swing to the sound of big band music and dance under the wings of WWII aircraft. This fundraiser helps keep WWII Airplanes flying and promotes educational programs in the community. In addition, your participation supports the goal of building a museum honoring the active history of South Dakota's role in World War II.

More than just a few-mile trek, the Walk to Defeat ALS® is an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something you care about. The Walk to Defeat ALS® is The ALS Association’s biggest annual event, which raises funds that allow our local chapters to sustain care services and support research for much of the next year. Did you know eating outside is a natural mood booster? Join us for the lunch hour and boost your mood at Fawick Park. Purchase a meal from a local food vendor while sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying entertainment in the park. In case of inclement weather, check Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation's website for updates. Price of food will be set by vendors. No registration required.
