Multiple Sclerosis is an often debilitating disease in which the body's immune system attacks the central nervous system. The exact cause of the disease remains unknown to this day, despite ongoing research. People diagnosed with MS generally fit into four courses, from mild to severe, which determines how quickly the disease will progress. Over 2.3 million people worldwide suffer from MS.
