River Tower Apartments Going Smoke-Free

In May 2014, the River Tower Apartments will become a smoke-free property. After attending a smoke-free multi-unit housing workshop for property owners and managers sponsored by Live Well Sioux Falls, the Sioux Empire Tobacco-Free Coalition and the American Lung Association, the River Tower management made the decision to go smoke-free.  They brought in a speaker from the American Cancer Society to help residents learn about quitting tobacco, and after that program, residents requested to have a quit-tobacco class come to River Tower. This hands-on cessation program will be provided by the Sioux Empire Tobacco Free Coalition. Congratulations to River Tower Apartments for being concerned about the health of the residents and the safety of their property!
