Location: Lake Lorraine

The Lake Lorraine Farmers Market is entering its third season in 2021 and is the only farmers market in western Sioux Falls. Our vendors sell a variety of goods, from plants to seasonal vegetables to meat to baked goods and more! Different activities are also planned throughout the market season with some vendors making special appearances. Weekly from 4-7 p.m. on the east side of the lake. Parking is available in the lot south of Hobby Lobby.

The Sioux Falls School District, in partnership with Avera, Sanford and Lewis Drug, is hosting COVID-19 vaccination clinics for anyone 12 years of age and older. Please note: these clinics are utilizing a two-dose vaccine.

If you attend on September 7, you will need to come back to this same location on Tuesday, September 28 between 2:30-7:00 p.m. for your second dose.

Location: Oyate Community Center, 2421 W. 15th Street

The Sioux Falls School District, in partnership with Avera, Sanford and Lewis Drug, is hosting COVID-19 vaccination clinics for anyone 12 years of age and older. Please note: these clinics are utilizing a two-dose vaccine.

The 2021 Health Connect Fair will be held on September 18 from 11AM to 3PM at the Sanford Pentagon (2210 W. Pentagon Place, Sioux Falls, SD). This FREE event is for individuals of all ages! Various entertainment will be provided and LOTS of FREE health screenings will take place.

FREE lunch and fun can be enjoyed by all attendees!  This event is brought to you by Health Connect of South Dakota.

Location: Falls Community Health, 521 North Main Avenue

Regular health checks are important to help you Live Well! Whether you are already a patient at Falls Community Health, or if you do not already have a health care provider, we invite you to come to this FREE wellness clinic. You will receive lots of information and a health check with a Falls Community Health provider.

The event includes:

• Information about Falls Community Health, including our patient portal as well as patient financial information
• Information about mammograms, PAP tests and colorectal cancer screenings
• Lab tests
• Oral health screening
• Emotional wellness
• Vision screening
• Tobacco cessation information
• Information from Live Well Sioux Falls and the Environmental Health Division of the Sioux Falls Health Department
• Information about Falls Community Health School-based Health Clinics and Falls Community Health Dental Services
• Great information and resources from community partners including the Helpline Center, Boys & Girls Club, Center of Hope, SD Department of Health, SD Department of Social Sioux Falls, Sioux Falls Police and Fire Departments, the SIGH clinic, Lutheran Social Services and Minnehaha County.

South Dakota Voices for Peace is partnering with South Dakota Urban Indian Health to host monthly COVID-19 vaccine drive-thrus at the Empire Mall from August through October.

FREE COVID-19 vaccines at the JCPenney entrance. 

• No ID needed
• Vaccine is Moderna 2-shot
• 18+ only
• $30 for each person getting vaccinated (people will receive $15 after each shot)

       AND—refer someone else to get a vaccine and receive $20!
