We are egg-cited to be hosting the Underwater Easter Egg Hunt this year! Join us for a fun afternoon of collecting eggs in the water and a chance to win some egg-cellent prizes. Once swimmers have completed their age group “hunt,” the children are welcome to swim. No registration required.

Parenting is hard. Growing up is, too. The Sioux Falls School District and Avera Health are partnering to strengthen families in the 2022-23 school year. Experts from Avera and SFSD will host free VIRTUAL forums once each month.

These virtual sessions on a pre-selected topic will be held the third Tuesday of each month at 6pm through a secure webinar platform. Your anonymous participation provides a safe space to learn about the challenges facing today’s students and the resources available for help. The series does not offer personal medical advice, but rather general information to build a parent’s knowledge.

The discovery of the Emerald Ash Borer in Sioux Falls prompted Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation to remove a number of ash trees from our parks system. As we replant, it has created an opportunity to increase a wider diversity of tree species in our park system. Our team is requesting volunteers like you to help us by planting 500 trees in over 20 pre-selected parks in Sioux Falls on April 27-28 and May 5-6, 2023. Your participation in this event will impact the future of our city's urban forest. To secure your involvement, sign up online below and have everyone in your group complete the linked waiver. We will provide the trees and shovels! Volunteers are required to be 16+ and are asked to bring their own gloves, water bottle, and to dress accordingly for weather. To help plan your schedule and number of volunteers: 1 person x 1 tree = 15 minutes approximately.
