The application for new gardeners was closed on 02/28. If you wish to apply to be on the waitlist, you may apply using the link above.

The Sioux Falls Community Garden program allows gardeners to rent garden plots approximately 200 square feet in size. Each plot has a rental fee of $20.

This effort is led by the SDSU Extension Master Gardeners with support from the City of Sioux Falls, private businesses, churches and more than 300 individual gardeners in eight different gardens across Sioux Falls.

All gardeners need to review and follow the Community Garden Guidelines.

New gardeners should complete the online application and will receive notification by April 15 if a plot is available.

Returning gardeners should contact their team lead about participating in the 2024 season.

Questions should be directed to the Community Garden Coordinator by emailing siouxfalls.center@sdstate.edu or by calling 605-782-3290.
