Ladies’ Bootcamp

Location: Cherry Rock Park

Our Ladies' Bootcamp offers a variety of workouts that will keep you in top-top shape! It's always a fun challenge, whether you are new to exercise or just getting back into it, you can go at your own pace and work your way up. Anyone can be a part of the program and all levels are welcome. Out boot camp workout will consist of cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and stretching. Please bring your own towel/mat. Stay Strong: Functional Fitness

Stay Strong: Functional Fitness

Location: Midco Aquatic Center, 1601 S Western Ave

This 60-minute Warm Water Pool class is designed to assist you in improving your strength and cardiovascular health. This light-to-moderate-intensity class format combines body-resistance and water exercise equipment with light-to-moderate aerobic exercise. During the 60-minutes of instruction, class participants will strengthen their major muscle groups as well as improve range of motion of all muscles and joints. Improvement of flexibility, balance, and stamina can be expected. The movements of the cardio activity are different fro every class in order for your body to receive optimal benefit for your physical health. 

There is a fee for Stay Strong of $45 for series.

Youth Triathlon Training - 6 to 9 year olds

Youth Triathlon Training - 6 to 9 year olds

Location: Kuehn Park/Pool

If you are planning on competing in the Youth Triathlon, or just want to learn what it's all about, then this event is for you. Practice your swimming, biking, and running skills while getting tips on how to improve. Bring your swimsuit, towel, bike, helmet, and running shoes each day. Tuesday's class will focus on swimming and transitioning to bike. Wednesday's class will focus on bike etiquette, riding the bike route, and transitioning to the run. Two-Wheeler Dealer will be at the training on Wednesday's to help with free basic bike tune-ups. Thursday's class will focus on transitioning from the bike and running the race route.

There is a fee of $20 for this training.

Basketball Skills Competition

Location: Kenny Anderson Community Center 3701 East Third Street

Are you lokking for somewhere to show off your basketball skills? Looking for individual competition? Well look no further! Participants will compete in the Hoop Shot, Free Throw, and Hot Spot Contest. Contestants will be divided into four age divisions: 8-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-17. Contestants will also be split by gender. Champions in each age division, for both boys and girls, will recieve a champion t-shirt and bragging right! Registration is required #193001.
