Pup-A-Thon 5k

July is National Pet Hydration Awareness Month! Join us with your pup for a 5K in support of keeping our pets healthy and hydrated! Runners who are registered by 12 noon on June 25 will receive a T-shirt for participating. 5K begins promptly at 8 a.m. and check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Registration required. $5.00

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue provides car seat installation and checks each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m..at Fire Station 3, 2820 S. Social Saturdays for Seniors

Location: Drakes Springs Family Aquatic Center
Join us on select Saturdays to socialize and exercise! This opportunity at Drake Springs will not only exercise your body, but your mind too! From 10–11 a.m. we will have an organized fitness class, and from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. you are free to enjoy the current channel or lap swim. No registration required. Participants will need to have an active swim pass or pay daily admission rates. AGES 55+

Adaptive Aquatics

Location: Laurel Oak Family Aquatic Center, 49th St. and Laurel Oak Dr.
Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation and Sanford Wellness Center are happy to announce an adaptive aquatics program for children with special needs. The goal of this program is to provide students with a structured aquatic experience designed to make them feel comfortable and safe while swimming. Carole Wolf, a SD-certified teacher with a master's degree in adaptive aquatics, will be conducting the classes. Classes will be a one-to-one student to instructor ratio for a 30-minute lesson. First come, first served.
