Eat Well and Move Well - Tips from SDSU Nursing Students

We recently had the opportunity to sit down with some students who are part of the nursing program at South Dakota State University to talk about healthy snacks and tips for staying active…especially during these winter months when it’s more tempting to curl up on the couch, order take-out and watch Netflix!

Check out the latest episode of our Live Well Health Feed featuring Ashley, Hanna, Norman and Allison, who will soon be joining the ranks of the incredible nursing profession.

In addition to being part of our Health Feed show, the students put together a great resource to help you Move Well with a 4-Week Activity Challenge using our Live Well Sioux Falls Let’s Move Well Together resource (hint: download and print this!). The students created a daily combination of exercises that take you from a 15-minute workout at the start of the challenge up to 30 minutes daily by the end of the month. Each week, there’s also a day of stretching to help you rest and recover.
