FREE Walking Program for 55+

Location: Morningside Community Center, 2400 S. Bahnson Avenue

Morningside Community Center's FREE walking program, which runs Monday-Friday from 8-10 a.m.,  is a great way to stay healthy and active in a climate-controlled environment. Lap counters are available for checkout so you can log your daily progress. Come for some exercise and socialize along the way! No registration required. 

Monday-Friday from March 1 through May 13.

Track Hike with the Littles

Location: The Outdoor Campus-East, 4500 S Oxbow Ave

Recommended for ages 3 to 5. Adult supervision required. 

Let’s go exploring for animals and their tracks on the trails! Enjoy the crispness of spring with a short hike perfect for you and your littles, learning where animals live, play and eat. This class will be inside and outside. Please come dressed for the weather!

n this introduction to Ayurveda (meaning: the science of life) we will explore how the three basic doshas relate to the seasons of the year, the stages of life, and your own constitution. We will look at how diet and herbs along with yoga postures can help soothe, and balance your body and mind. You’ll have an opportunity to try out some Ayurvedic teas and be given references for Ayurvedic recipes. Registration required (Class #400027). $30 per series. Series recommended for 18+
