Fun and Fit Day

Appropriate for ages 2-5.
Ride, run, jump, and jam! Join Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation and participate in fitness-related activities, all while having fun! Children must be supervised by an individual 16 years of age or older. A 5-to-1 ratio of children to adults must be observed. No registration required.

Shuffleboard

Did you know playing shuffleboard regularly could have health benefits? It can relieve stress, allows participants to socialize with others, and also can be viewed as a form of exercise! Stick around after cards or come in after cards and enjoy some indoor shuffleboard. Courts and equipment provided. Ages 55+.

Wii Bowling

Location: Kuehn Community Center
Do you like bowling, but dor your wrist/fingers start to hurt after you play a full game? Come try our virtual bowling league this December at Kuehn Community Center. Wii Bowling allows you to play multiple games while having a very low impact on your body in comparison to the real thing; meaning you can get tons of practice for when the real bowling matches come find you. We will have multiple 1v1 games, consisting of a single elimination bracket that will decide who is the best Wii bowler in town! Ages 55+.

Simple Cooking With Heart

Cooking at home can be a daunting task, but a rewarding one for your diet and lifestyle (and your wallet). Making small changes in your diet is important to your heart health. If you're ready to start cooking at home, this cooking class, Presented by Live Well Sioux Falls with the support of the American Heart Association, will give you the basics you need to make low-cost, heart-healthy meals. Each session will feature a different set of affordable and healthy recipes to give you the basic skills and techniques to get started, inspired and have fun!

Mindful Meditation

You will be taken through a series of guided meditations. These meditation sessions will also incorporate techniques such as sound (crystal and Tibetan singing bowls and other instruments), Thai-massage, Reiki, mindfulness, oils, Chakra-balancing, self-compassion, and more. Chair Volleyball
