Come and learn the secret behind how a plant grows. Children who garden have shown an increased level of responsibility, self-awareness, and a higher likelihood to eat healthy foods including fruits and vegetables. After learning about plant characteristics, participants will decorate a flowerpot and then plant their very own plant in it to take home. Mother’s Day is right around the corner and homemade treasures make the best gifts! Registration required.
